The Grizzly Women's took on the Brown Mackie Lions on November 24 where they came away with a five point win. The final score was 77 to 72 with Alysia Hart, Goddard, sophomore leading the team with 22 point. Abby Henning, Wichita, freshmen was right behind her with 13 as well as Tiera Andrews, Wichita, freshmen with 12. Abby Fawcett, Bishop Carroll, freshmen finished with 11 points also.
The team total field goal percentage for the first half was a 48 percent. They shot 18 for 37 and from the arc; they were 7 of 17 for 41 percent. The second half is where they went downwards shooting 8 of 26 for 30 percent. Then behind the arc in the second half they were 2 for 6 with a 33 percent. By the end of the game they shot for 41 percent in field goals and 39 percent from behind the arc. They also made 16 out of 21 free throws.
Butler had four players in double digits and two players that were two points away from double digits. The defense came away fairly well getting 21 rebounds, 15 turnovers and 7 steals. The team had a total of 31 rebounds.
