This February Butler is participating in the Books for Life Drive. The drive will end February 28. The drive is collecting books to send to children all over the world, they are asking that only children's picture books be donated. The books may be dropped off at the following locations: Butler's Student Union at either the El Dorado or Andover campus (5000 building north), EduCare Center at the El Dorado campus, near the reception area at the Andover campus (5000 building north) or any Dillion's store.…

Good news for students that might need a little extra help with classes! In the east lounge with the comfortable chairs and open space on the El Dorado campus on the first floor of the 1300 building, there will be time provided for students to receive that extra help they might need.…

On February 6, Butler Community College held a Fine Arts Scholarship Audition day. Butler is offering around 250 scholarships total for it's Fine Arts candidates, which will cover tuition and books. Students were invited from high schools all over the state to compete for scholarships for when they choose to attend Butler.…

The Office of Student Involvement held their annual Leadership Summit on Friday, Feb. 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Grizzly Den, located in the 5000 building at Butler of Andover. Students were excused from class and transportation back and forth was provided for students attending.…

Phi Theta Kappa, an international two year college honor society, is in full swing here at Butler. They offer recognition to students commitment to higher education and their academic achievement. This organization has been recognizing two-year college students for over 75 years and is still going strong.…
