The Grizzly women and men traveled to Dodge City on Wednesday to play the Conquistadors. The women tipped off first with a record of 6-6 going into the game and were heavily favored by many. Alysia Hart, Goddard sophomore, got off to a rip-roaring start in the first half with 13 points and gave the Grizzlies a 31-24 lead at halftime.…

Hutchinson sophomore, Caleb Walker and the Grizzlies got off to a great start in Tonkawa, Okla. with a 34-27 lead at halftime. They got a great shooting performance from Kyle Sloan, Kansas City freshman, who had three threes in the first half and really gave the Grizzlies a boost into halftime.…

In basketball, it is always tough to beat a team twice in the same season. On Nov. 21, the Grizzly basketball teams fell to Neosho, 73-69 for the women's game and 85-79 for the men. Both teams had defeated the Tigers just 11 days earlier in Chanute. The women's game started with many Grizzlies in foul trouble sending starters Jessica Egwuagu, Austin, TX freshman, and Abby Fawcett, Wichita freshman, to the bench very early in the game.…

Football is just a sport to some people but to Scott Smith it's more than that, it's a way of life. Smith is a defensive end for the Butler Grizzlies. The Grizzlies went 8-3 and did not make a bowl game for the first time in 13 years. Smith was the standout player for the Grizzlies.…

The final score was 77 to 72 with Alysia Hart, Goddard, sophomore leading the team with 22 point.
