The Ottawa University women's soccer team's season is over after a 1-0 loss in the KCAC conference finals to Kansas Wesleyan University (KWU) on Nov. 15.

"Obviously the girls are disappointed, but they are also very proud of their successful season," Molly Grisham, assistant coach, said.

LITTLE ROCK - The LSU Tigers had two hands on the Golden Boot, but the Arkansas Razorbacks weren't ready to part ways with the rivalry trophy.

Senior quarterback Casey Dick, playing in his final game as a Razorback, found wide receiver London Crawford in the end zone for a 24-yard touchdown with 21 seconds remaining to give Arkansas a 31-30 win over LSU on Friday and possession of the Golden Boot for the second consecutive season.

The Arkansas football team fell 31-28 to the Mississippi State Bulldogs, the perennial Southeastern Conference cellar dwellers, who knocked off the Razorbacks for the first time in a decade.

UMKC's tension charged 4-3 shootout victory over top seeded Oakland University was a two-fold triumph for the Kangaroos' men's soccer team.

First, by virtue of the win, they captured the Summit League Championship tournament crown, their first conference title since 2001.
