The Christmas season is kicking off at OCU with a show.
The OCU American Spirit Dance Company's Home for the Holidays show runs Dec. 11 to 14. Show times are 8 p.m. Dec. 11, 12 and 13 and 2 p.m. Dec. 13 and 14.
"The beautiful lighting, fabulous costumes and talented dancers make this show as exciting as holiday offerings in Los Angeles, New York or Branson," Director Jo Rowan said.

There's something darkly erotic about vampires, and "Twilight" knows it.
I get why people are going crazy over this, despite its countless flaws. It's a 15-year-old's dream. And embarrassing as it is, I'll say it: I actually liked parts of this movie.

Maintenance workers discovered a leak in the heating pipe in Headlee Hall, which will require extensive work and require heat in the building to be shut down, according to a letter distributed to Headlee residents on Friday. Every college has at least one dormitory with a dreadful reputation beyond all others, that dirty, smelly, nasty place that no one wants to go. Ottawa University's dorm with that reputation is, in fact, Brown Hall and I have been a witness to this nastiness since August when I first began school.
